Terms and Conditions
Please carefully read the following terms and conditions before booking any tour services with us. By booking a tour with our company, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
- Booking and Confirmation:
- All tour bookings are subject to availability
- All information detailed in client itineraries is given to the best of Daje Tour and Travels knowledge and based on the latest information available. Daje Tour and Travels shall not be liable for information that is modified from third parties or those arising from typing errors.
- A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. A full advance of payment for gorilla permits is required to make a reservation and a booking of at least ten weeks for the gorilla trekking is strongly recommended.
- Your booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the deposit and issuance of a confirmation email from us.
- Payment:
- Full payment for the tour must be made prior to the commencement of the tour unless otherwise agreed upon.
- Payment can be made via bank transfer, cash, paypal or credit card.
- Guests will be responsible for flights, visa fees if applicable and any other services not included in the itinerary.
- Any additional expenses incurred during the tour must be settled by the client before departure.
- Cancellation and Refunds:
- Cancellations made by the client must be communicated to us in writing.
- You can cancel and rebook your safari with no added cost for up to 60 days prior to the start date.
- Refunds for cancellations made after full payment will be subject to the terms and conditions of our suppliers, including hotels, transportation companies, and activity providers. The charges on cancellations are;
59-36 days 30%
35-14 days 50%
13-0 days 75%
- Gorilla permits are 100% non-refundable.
- Changes and Amendments:
- Daje Tour and Travels reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary, accommodations, transportation, or any other aspect of the tour due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, natural disasters, or safety concerns.
- Daje Tour and Travels will make reasonable efforts to notify clients of any changes as soon as possible.
- Travel Documents and Insurance:
- It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that all travel documents, including passports, visas, and permits, are valid and up-to-date.
- We strongly recommend that clients purchase travel insurance to cover unforeseen events such as trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and lost luggage.
- Health and Safety:
- Clients are responsible for assessing their own physical fitness and health conditions before participating in any tour activities.
- Clients must adhere to all safety instructions provided by our guides and tour operators during the tour.
- Liability:
- While Daje Tour and Travels takes all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our clients, we cannot be held liable for any loss, injury, or damage incurred during the tour.
- Clients participate in tour activities at their own risk.
- Force Majeure:
- Etoa Safaris shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these terms and conditions if such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, or government actions.
- Disputes:
- Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Uganda, and both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.
- Severability:
- If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
